This new exhibition opens at the Peter and Mary Muth Interpretive Center Saturday, July 17 to July 25, 2021. Southern California Plein Air Painters Association (SOCALPAPA) artists have submitted 61 original paintings inspired by the beauty and natural heritage of the Upper Back Bay as well as the varied landscapes of the OC Parks. Admission and parking is free and the Center is open everyday except Mondays from 10 am to 4 pm. Jeff Horn, hornart.com, will be the Juror and Judge of Awards for this year’s show. Jeff is Professor Emeritus of Drawing and Painting, Irvine Valley College. SOCALPAPA grew from Jeff’s classes and now, over 20 years later, remains a strong and involved organization of artists. Member artists will submit original paintings for jury review and awards. The show will also be online at SOCALPAPAGallery.com starting Saturday as well.

Purchases are processed by NBC,and artwork will be available for pickup at the Muth Center by appointment after the show ends on Sunday, July 25. A portion of the sale proceeds go to NBC, which allows a partial charitable tax deduction for the art purchaser.
