In its ongoing, multi-year collaboration with Newport Bay Conservancy, Subaru and its inspiring initiative, the Subaru Love Promise, brought people together for a worthy–and musical!–purpose at the Newport Beach Jazz Festival. Subaru’s partnerships with a wide variety of charities and nonprofits, along with their commitments to such impactful groups, have created positive changes in the areas that are most important to Subaru, which includes the environment, health, education, pets, and community. As an “environment” pillar, Newport Bay Conservancy receives Subaru’s support to gather the people of Orange County—locals and visitors alike— to experience the joys of the bay while also learning more about its preservation.
For the second consecutive year, the Conservancy will be represented at the Subaru Newport Beach Jazz Festival which will take place from May 31st to June 2nd. Our presence at this exceptional musical event, one of the longest-running festivals in Orange County since 1996, allows Newport Beach Conservancy to encourage attendees to reflect on the work needed to maintain the beautiful scenery of the bay that surrounds the festival. It is also a chance to speak with its visitors about the story of Newport Bay Conservancy and the community-wide effort to protect the bay as a space that belongs to everyone.
