Building the Next Generation of Restoration Leaders
Newport Bay Conservancy is excited to announce a Restoration Internship Program, supported by the State Coastal Conservancy’s Lower Constellation Coastal Sage Scrub and High Marsh Restoration Project. This paid internship provides hands-on training and professional development opportunities for aspiring conservation professionals while expanding restoration efforts within Upper Newport Bay.
Throughout the year-long internship, participants will assist with invasive species management, native plant propagation, site maintenance, GIS-based data collection, and volunteer stewardship events. Interns will gain experience in project planning, volunteer leadership, environmental education, and restoration reporting.
