The naturalists at NBC are pleased to announce that the Quiksilver Foundation has donated $500 in non-restricted funds. These funds were raised at the Quiksilver Women’s Fashion Island store opening on October 4th.
These funds will be used for the continuation of various environmental education programs and nature tours for school and college groups and to enhance the knowledge and appreciation of the bay by the general public.
NBC’s relationship with the Quiksilver organization has proved to be beneficial for both parties. NBC would like to encourage all naturalists and those interested in conservation of the Upper Newport Bay to consider Quiksilver during this holiday shopping period.
