Woolly Sea-blight (Suaeda taxifolia)
Plant: Perennial shrub that grows between 1 and 3 feet tall, with many leaves on each stem.
Flowers: Small and greenish.
Leaf: Covered with soft short hairs and are somewhat succulent. 
Flowering period:   July to October
Use by Indians:  Made a black dye for coloring baskets, leaves boiled and eaten as greens.
