to 40 inches high, aromatic. Common.

Flowers: Yellow radiate flower heads in dense
clusters of 3 to many, 5 ray flowers and 6 disk flowers.

Leaf: Alternate on the stems. Lower leaves linear, saw
toothed, 1 to 6 inches long, mostly dried up by the time the plant is
in flower. Upper leaves small, smooth edged.
