Sea Fig  (Carpobrotus  chilensus)
Plant: Perennial, succulent with many trailing stems to 3 feet long, forming mats.  Invasive.
Flowers: Terminal on short or no stem 1 1/4 to 2 inches across, petals are magenta.
Leaf: Succulent, 3 sides, straight 1 1/2 to 3 inches long.
Flowering period:   April to September
Can be found here: Too many places
Use Used by early sailors to fight scurvy.
Native Plant: No Halophyte: No
