Rabbitfoot Grass  (Polypogon monspeliensis)
Plant: Erect annual grass 4 to 20 inches tall, introduced from Europe.
Flowers: Elevated above the leaves, soft and bristly resembling a rabbits foot
Leaf: Blades are flat, fine-lined, rough to the touch, 10 inches long and 1/2 inch wide.
Flowering period:   April to August
