Marsh Fleabane  (Pluchea odorata)
Plant: Perennial herb, erect, 1 to 4 feet tall, branched above, covered with soft hairs.
Flowers:  Many purple flower heads on stems above the plants. 
Leaf: Alternate of stems, lance shaped, toothed, dull green, 1 to 4 1/3 inches long.
Flowering period:   July to November
Use by Indians:  Tea was used to stimulate perspiration.  Used to reduce menstrual cramps.
