Five-hook Bassia  (Bassia hyssopifolia)
Plant: Annual, branching from the base, hairy, 1 to 2 feet tall.  Invasive.
Flowers: In small axillary clusters, green, hairy, with a hook on each sepal which promotes seed distribution.
Leaf: Alternate on stems, long and narrow lance-shaped, 3/4 to 1-1/4 inches long.
Flowering period:  May to October
