Blue-Eyed Grass  (Sisyrinchium bellum)
Plant: Grass like plant that grow in colonies.
Flowers: At the ends of 16 inch branching stems, purple with yellow center.
Leaf: Grass like leaves grow from  the base of the plant as well as alternately along the stem.
Flowering period:   February to May
Use by Indians:  Beverage from roots for fevers.
