To get
to the Interpretive Center from North Orange County, take the 405 or
55 Freeway south to the 73 Freeway. Exit the 73 Freeway at Irvine
Avenue. Turn right on Irvine and go about 1 mile until you get to
University Drive. Turn left on University. The Nature Preserve
parking lot is on the right hand side. A footpath leads down to the
Interpretive Center. Please note that the
building is not visible from the street. See photo
directions.
To get to the
Interpretive Center from South Orange County via the 405 Freeway,
take the 405 North to the 55 South and the 55 South to the 73
Freeway. Exit the 73 Freeway at Irvine Avenue. Turn right on Irvine
and go about 1 mile until you get to University Drive. Turn left on
University. The parking lot is on the right hand side. A footpath
leads down to the Interpretive Center.
To get to the
Interpretive Center from South Orange County via the 73
Freeway/Toll Road, exit the 73 at Birch, go two stop lights to
Irvine and turn left on Irvine. Go about 1 mile until you get to
University Drive. Turn left on University. The parking lot is on the
right hand side. Do not exit the 73 Freeway at University.
University is interrupted by the Bay and you cannot reach the IC
directly. |
