Join us on Thursday, September 9th to hear more about Those Urban Bobcats.

The Newport Bay Naturalists & Friends (NBNF) is a volunteer-driven 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation. Our dedicated and talented Naturalists have contributed more than 100,000 hours of volunteer service. Our mission is to:

  • To preserve and restore the ecosystems of Upper Newport Bay;
  • To educate the public about the ecological value of the Bay and its watershed and help ensure compatible public use.

Read about us under "Day trip: Upper Newport Bay" in the April edition of Sunset Magazine - and remember that any time is a great time to kayak or hike Newport Beach's Back Bay.
