One of our Naturalists, Don Millar, has created an
absolutely fabulous picture guidebook "The
Common Plants of Upper Newport Bay". The amount of time and
effort Don put into this is incredible. Thank you for a great job,

Don's good friend and fellow Naturalist, Dick
Newell, has written a great article on plant identification - "What
is that Flower?"
We hope to have bird and marine life guides
available in the not-too-distant future. For now, click on the
birds link on the left to find out about the endangered and
threatened birds found at the Bay, and the bird counts conducted her
by the Sea and Sage Audubon Society.
